Notarial services
Information on notarial services while while in mainland China.
The Embassy processes requests for notarial services on documents intended for use in Singapore. We do not generally perform notarial functions on documents to be used in a country other than Singapore, unless it is required by the local authorities.
The notarial services include:
Certify true copy of documents
Information on the type of documents the Embassy can certify and the requirements.
Legalisation / Apostillation of documents
Information on legalisation and apostillation of documents.
Witnessing of signature
Information on witnessing of signature for affidavits, statutory declarations and other documents.
Make an appointment
For notarial services (excluding legalisation of documents), please make an appointment here or scan the QR code below. You are required to bring cash for payment and all necessary materials. Please take note of the following requirements:
Valid identification documents – Bring your passport and/or identification documents (e.g. NRIC). Valid identification is required for the Embassy to verify your identity and attest your signature.
Complete set of documents to be signed – Bring the complete set of documents to be signed but do not sign them in advance. You must sign them in the presence of our officers for the Embassy to attest your signature.
