Replacement of a lost NRIC

Information on reporting a lost Singapore Identity Card while overseas.

The Embassy is not able to replace a lost Singapore Identity Card.

If you had lost your NRIC while overseas, you are required to report the loss to ICA within 14 days, through the Report Loss of Identity Card e-service. You may then apply for a replacement NRIC upon your next return to Singapore. You will need to collect your replacement NRIC in-person at the ICA Building in Singapore.
